Adina Hotels Europe’s New CEO

Asli Kutlucan

Following robust growth in Europe, Sydney-based TFE Hotels has appointed international hotelier Asli Kutlucan as Chief Executive Officer of Adina Hotels in Europe. This move coincides with TFE's plans to introduce the A by Adina brand to the European market in 2025 and commence pre-development work for two new A by Adina properties in Australia.

Antony Ritch, CEO of TFE Hotels, described Kutlucan as a commercially focused and strategic leader with a 30-year international career spanning operations and development. Kutlucan's appointment comes during a period of solid growth for Adina Hotels in Europe, with seven new hotels opening since 2021 and a robust pipeline, including the debut of the Adina Hotel brand in Austria and Switzerland and Adina Serviced Apartments in Vienna.

"With Kutlucan's appointment, we are solidifying our strong leadership base in Europe," stated Ritch.

"I am confident her skillset and experience, combined with the expertise of the current Adina team, will establish solid foundations for future growth and the introduction of new brands."

Reflecting on her appointment, Kutlucan expressed her inspiration from the hospitality she experienced during her first visit to Australia in December. She emphasised the excitement of introducing the premium A by Adina brand to Europe and the passion for pioneering innovative endeavours.

"As a hotelier, I consider the opportunity to shape or reposition a brand a distinct privilege," Kutlucan said

"I look forward to building upon Adina's strong foundations."

Kutlucan brings extensive hospitality experience, having worked in operations, development, construction, and acquisition across various countries, including the US, UK, Rwanda, and Amsterdam. After serving as Chief Development Officer at Cycas Hospitality for thirteen years, she joined Adina, where she played a pivotal role in growing the hotel portfolio across the UK and continental Europe.

Adina has earned a reputation for excellence, surpassing the conventional four-star benchmark. Kutlucan expressed confidence in Adina's significant growth potential in Europe in the coming decades.

"Kutlucan's blend of hands-on hospitality experience and strategic leadership will be invaluable as we expand our presence in Europe and introduce new brands," Ritch concluded.
