Fizz Festivities at QT Wellington

QT Wellington’s Gallery Lounge has welcomed Perrier-Jouët for Flora & Fizz.

An experience unique to QT, Flora & Fizz has invited Wellingtonians into an enchanted world adorned with flora, fauna and bespoke décor mirroring Perrier-Jouët’s iconic bottle, with exclusive Perrier-Jouët pours.

In a celebration overflowing with savoir-faire and art de vivre, the design-led hotel’s art-filled bar will be transformed from February until May. Those fond of fizz can order a tableside Champagne tasting flight served on a Perrier-Jouët enchanted tree. Two tasting experiences will be on offer:

  • ‘Enchanted Discoveries’ experience offers five pours in full flight, including Perrier-Jouët’s very special Belle Époque and Belle Époque Rosé for $105 per person.
  • ‘Taste of Nature’ experience, comprising three Champagnes from Perrier-Jouët’s Blason collection: a refined trio of Blanc de Blancs, Brut and Rosé for $39 per person.

The fizz-filled festivities continue upstairs at Hippopotamus restaurant, with a special Champagne High Tea pouring on Saturdays and Sundays, throughout the Flora & Fizz period. Taking inspiration from Perrier-Jouët pops, QT Wellington’s pastry team has crafted three tiers of teatime delights, including raspberry and Champagne macarons, Chaource cheese puffs, and hazelnut dacquoise with salted caramel ganache. Alongside the Champagne High Tea, guests can opt to add on a Flora & Fizz ‘Taste of Nature’ or ‘Enchanted Discoveries’ Champagne tasting.

Over the thirteen weeks, Gallery Lounge will be offering specials on the full range of Perrier-Jouët Champagnes by the glass, bottle, and magnums.
