Electric Playhouse, Las Vegas’ new 10,000-square-foot social gaming destination, will open inside The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace on the Las Vegas Strip on the 22nd of June.
Merging the digital and physical worlds into one through dozens of motion-activated games and experiences, Electric Playhouse has fostered a human connection to get visitors of all ages and interests moving.
Without headsets or gadgets, the walls and floors inside Electric Playhouse spring to life and respond to players’ actions.
Upon arrival, guests will enter a dynamic environment filled with seven different areas of physically and mentally stimulating games for solo players, pairs, groups of up to 40 and everything in between. Kiosks in each game area will also allow guests to explore and select from many games easily.
Utilising its unique body-mapping technology and motion sensors, combined with an exclusive collection of games, the venue is furnished with a system of sensors that allow accurate tracking of individuals and large groups. This data will generate a digital replica of each guest, resembling a player inside a video game.
As guests move, the walls, floors, and tables respond to their actions in diverse ways. This is enhanced by 360-degree projection mapping, which completely engages guests in interactive games and dining experiences.
The most popular games include Guacamole and Light Hockey alongside a scenic outdoor terrace, offering stunning views above the bustling heart of Las Vegas Boulevard.
Later this year, the establishment will introduce a full-service bar for guests 21 and over and upscale-themed dining experiences.
“In a world where passive screen time with video games, smartphones, VR, and TV is all too common, Electric Playhouse offers an active, social, and lively entertainment alternative,” said Brandon Garrett, chief executive officer and co-founder of Electric Playhouse.
“We aim to rejuvenate the way people of all ages engage with technology by welcoming them into an experiential world where they can connect, play, and create enduring memories together.”
The Las Vegas location represents the second venue for Electric Playhouse, following the highly successful original location launched in Albuquerque, New Mexico, in 2021.
General admission tickets, which include one hour of unrestricted access to Electric Playhouse’s motion-activated games and experiences, are currently on sale.
