SLH welcomed nine distinctive new openers in 2025. Münchner Kindl – House of Hütter, opened its bold and colourful doors on 4 April 2025, marking SLH’s first hotel in Munich. The exquisite 18th-century landmark townhouse is situated in the heart of historic Munich, blending Bavarian elegance and flamboyant interiors with a unique design. It offers ten exclusive apartment suites and six luxury rooms. January saw the opening of ROMEO Roma, just steps away from the Piazza del Popolo. Designed by the renowned architect Zaha Hadid (one of her last projects), the 74-room hotel is a paradise for lovers of avant-garde architecture. In December, Villa Haven Resort Maldives will introduce a serene 73-key, nature-inspired tropical wonderland offering a holistic retreat for guests seeking rejuvenation.
SLH continued to deepen its global footprint by entering into new locations. A converted bank dating back to 1877, Grand Palace Hotel in Riga, Latvia provides a luxurious five-star experience. Guests can indulge in art-inspired gastronomy at the Michelin-recognised Seasons Restaurant and immerse themselves in the city's UNESCO-listed architecture, enjoying a seamless blend of culinary and cultural delights. SLH welcomes its first Massachusetts property with the addition of The Mansion at Ocean Edge. The resort commands prime real estate along Cape Cod Bay and boasts impressive amenities, including a private beach, multiple indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, pickleball, private oyster tastings, and a full-service Beach House spa. In Spain, Hotel Palau Fugit, a restored 18th-century palace in Girona’s lively Old Quarter brings new life into this historic destination. Inspired by Mediterranean tradition, this hotel embodies a love of nature and the joyful "La Vida Plena" spirit.
Expanding its collection within UNESCO World Heritage sites, SLH continued to build its portfolio of truly singular and exceptional stays. Located in Madrid’s ‘landscape of light’, Hotel Urban Madrid is a foodie haven, home to Michelin star restaurant, CEBO, with carefully crafted menus from chefs Javier Sanz and Juan Sahuquillo. Nobu Hotel Warsaw also joins the collection on the other side of the continent. Located in the historic centre of Warsaw, this hotel exudes minimalist elegance, echoing the city's eclectic spirit paired with Nobu’s signature style. In Estonia, Schlossle Hotel is located in the World Heritage-recognised city of Tallinn. Effortlessly blending charm and sophistication through its original tapestries and antique furnishings, the property carries echoes of the old city in each room. And in the heart of France’s wine country, YNDO Hotel embodies the heart and soul of Bordeaux. Once a 19th-century mansion, this boutique property exemplifies French opulence with some of the best of local sips right at its door. One of SLH’s most unique new additions is Sant'Angelo Matera – set amid the time-carved stones of magical Matera in the Basilicata region of Italy, guests can truly immerse themselves into the heart of Italian tradition through engaging cooking classes or self-guided tours through the enchanting network of ancient alleyways and churches.
SLH’s selection of new coastal getaways has included unique accommodations such as The Retreat Koh Chang in Trat, Thailand. Joining the portfolio as a part of the Considerate Collection, this boutique sanctuary is focused on delivering peace, serenity, and distinct island experiences. On the Grecian island of Halkidiki, Eagles Palace is set on a private slice of pristine beach. Whether exploring the Sithonia peninsula by yacht, rolling up your sleeves in the organic garden, tasting renowned Greek wines or simply relaxing beside one of its three swimming pools, this new SLH member has something for everyone. Nestled amid a green hillside on Sicily’s northern shore, Le Calette N°5 is a model of Mediterranean perfection. This boutique escape is a family-run gem, blending natural beauty, enviable Italian style and an atmosphere of laid-back luxury. And alongside the Riviera Maya, BESPOKE Tulum sits on a secluded, pristine beach with accommodations designed to blur the boundary between indoors and out.
SLH will also expand its collection of small, city centre stays that put guests at the heart of all the action. In Dublin, Dylan Hotel is a boutique hideaway that’s full of Irish soul.
