FIJI | Lomani Island Resort & Spa has unveiled its new custom-built sanctuary, the Lomani Spa, nestled within the resorts natural surroundings.
Adults-only holiday haven, Lomani Island Resort & Spa, is delighted to unveil its newest offering: the much-anticipated Lomani Spa, a tranquil, custom-built sanctuary nestled in the resort’s lush jungle surroundings. Infused with the healing spirit of Fiji and surrounded by swaying palms and frangipani, this bespoke retreat invites guests to truly breathe in, bliss out, and reconnect with the slower rhythm of island life.
Rooted in the four pillars of Relax, Regenerate, Restore and Rejuvenate, Lomani Spa blends time-honoured Fijian healing with contemporary wellness practices to deliver deeply personal, transformative experiences. With its thoughtful design by local firm Architects Pacific Fiji, renowned for their sensitive, site-specific work in remote locations, Lomani Spa combines expert therapies with a deep commitment to cultural authenticity. The result is a wellness experience that raises the bar in the Mamanuca Islands, offering guests a sensory escape that is both grounding and elevated.
"The introduction of Lomani Spa marks a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to enhancing guest experiences," said Lee Pearce, CEO of Raffe Hotels & Resorts.
"We are proud to offer a space where guests can immerse themselves in authentic Fijian wellness traditions, complemented by modern amenities, all within the tranquil beauty of Lomani Island Resort & Spa."
“This is a proud moment for our team,” said Shelley White, General Manager.
“Lomani Spa has been a true labour of love, developed in collaboration with spa expert Julie Newman. Together, we’ve created a sanctuary that not only reflects the natural beauty of Fiji but gives our guests the gift of peace, balance, and holistic care.”
Just a short stroll from the guest bures, the Lomani Spa is set apart in a tranquil enclave surrounded by frangipani and swaying coconut palms. Inside the purpose-built retreat, guests will find a sauna, plunge pool, custom-built ice bath, the first of its kind in Fiji, and a shaded relaxation deck.
The new spa features six beautifully appointed treatment bures, including a mix of single and double rooms, each with private outdoor showers for a deeply immersive experience in nature and comfort. After selecting treatments, guests are invited to unwind with a light, hydrating refreshment of infused water in the serene surrounds of the spa, extending their wellness journey in pure relaxation.
At the heart of the spa experience is the Lomani Signature Fijian Bobo Massage, a deeply relaxing therapy that uses rhythmic strokes and natural oils passed down through generations. The Dua Tale Massage, performed by two therapists in harmony, provides a synchronised treatment that guests describe as unforgettable.
The spa proudly uses Nama Fiji, a natural skincare range made from wild sea grapes sourced sustainably from the Yasawa Islands. A vegan alternative to hyaluronic acid, Nama offers deep hydration and helps support local Fijian communities through eco-conscious harvesting.
