USA | Mustafa Suer has returned to his roots, joining Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead as its new general manager.
Global hospitality leader Hilton said it was pleased to announce the appointment of Mustafa Suer as general manager of the award-winning Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead.
Suer will bring over 20 years of international leadership experience, having led luxury hotels and resorts across three continents under brands such as Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, IHG Hotels & Resorts, and Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts.
His appointment marks a return to Atlanta, where he previously held a leadership role with IHG. In his new role at Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead, he will oversee all aspects of hotel operations for the 127-room property, including the hotel’s signature restaurant Brassica, 15,000-square-foot spa, intimate function spaces, and more.
Known for his strategic vision and ability to inspire high-performing teams, Suer has consistently delivered record performance and elevated service standards throughout his career. He most recently served as hotel manager of Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach in California, guiding the Forbes Four-Star property to record performance and accolades.
His career also includes key senior roles in hotel operations, food and beverage, and property openings at the InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown and the InterContinental Washington, D.C. The Wharf.

Earlier in his professional career, he held leadership positions with Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts in Philadelphia, Nevis, Istanbul, and Baku, helping to elevate service standards and achieve global recognition for multiple properties.

Suer holds a degree from Çukurova University in Turkey and completed executive education at Cornell University. A former Atlanta resident, he looks forward to beginning this new chapter in the city with his family.
