The Diplomat Beach Resort announces the debut of The Verandah Social Club, the resort’s adult-only oceanfront pool and lounge experience, crafted for both guests and the public, ages 21 and over. The open-air social club introduces a fresh way to experience the property’s iconic shoreline, blending poolside luxury, culinary-driven moments and wellness-forward offerings in a refined, high-style setting.

Above the beach and beyond the ordinary, The Verandah Social Club was created in collaboration with architecture firm, LEO A DALY and Indidesign. The concept is defined by modern sophistication, premium access and bespoke offerings for hotel guests and visitors alike. Palm-framed sightlines, layered textures and thoughtfully curated spaces invite guests to move effortlessly between the edge pool, shaded tide beds, private cabanas and intimate lounge areas, creating an experience that evolves naturally from sun-soaked afternoons into golden-hour gatherings.

The opening of The Verandah Social Club marks a pivotal milestone in The Diplomat’s transformation to Signia by Hilton, offering a polished, serene escape defined by attentive service, dynamic culinary programming from Solara and Playa and a distinctly signature atmosphere overlooking the ocean and new pools.   

Culinary programming at The Verandah Social Club offers a refined, yet relaxed menu of services and curated add-on experiences designed for all-day enjoyment. Guests can explore shareable small plates, vibrant salads, mouth-watering handhelds, playful cocktails, nutrient-rich juices and indulgent desserts, all crafted to complement long, leisurely days by the pool. 

Further transporting guests to vacation vibes, menu highlights include dishes like the Cabana Harvest, a colourful spread of seasonal compressed and infused fruits, raw and pickled vegetables and an array of citrus Greek yoghurt, hummus, charred baba ghanoush, ranch and onion dip. And for those looking for a sweet finisher, guests can cool down with the Cocoboom, a half coconut shell filled with creamy coconut gelato. Behind the bar, signature cocktails set the tone for sun-drenched afternoons, including the You Odyssey This, blending cucumber and mint vodka with lemon, house-made rosemary and honeydew syrup, Mediterranean tonic and a delicate ouzo mist, and the Berry Vibrant, a lush mix of 23-year-old rum with raspberry, lemon and rhubarb bitters.
