SOUTH KOREA | Hilton Garden Inn Busan Gijang is set to open in 2028 as part of the chain's wider plan to expand its presence in South Korea.

Hilton has announced the signing of a franchise agreement with MS&C Co., Ltd. to open Hilton Garden Inn Busan Gijang in 2028. Located in Gijang, Busan, the hotel is planned to be part of a larger mixed-use development project.

“The signing of Hilton Garden Inn Busan Gijang reflects the continued strength of South Korea as a dynamic growth market for Hilton and joins our existing estate of 11 trading and pipeline hotels in the country”, said Clarence Tan, senior vice president, development, Asia Pacific, Hilton.

“As Busan Gijang continues to emerge as a hub for tourism and healthcare, we see strong demand for well-positioned, high-quality accommodation, including Hilton Garden Inn.”

Hilton Garden Inn Busan Gijang will feature 111 guest rooms, an all-day dining restaurant, a café and lounge, a fitness centre, a swimming pool, a spa and sauna facilities. The hotel is conveniently located near many of Busan’s key attractions, including Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, Lotte World Adventure Busan, Shinsegae Busan Premium Outlets, and prestigious golf courses.
