MGallery is opening a villa that blends light, time, and the ocean flow in soothing harmony in its luxury Maldives resort.
The new villa at V Villas Maldives at Mirihi MGallery Collection was crafted as a refined ode to Maldivian heritage and natural beauty.
It is located on the private island of Mirihi, one of the Madives’ most pristine isles in the South Ari Atoll surrounded by white sand and crystalline blue-green lagoons.
V Villas Maldives is a 30-minute seaplane journey from Malé. The resort features 42 spacious villas, including four new luxury overwater villas with expansive private pools. The properties are surrounded by panoramic ocean views, and a private butler service is available.
The villas feature ocean-inspried architecture designed by Studio Gronda, reflecting the Maldives’ contemporary artistry. Handwoven lattices filter sunlight into soft golden patterns that dance across textured stones, while coral-inspired ceramics crafted by Maldivian artisans evoke shapes reminiscent of the reef’s living architecture.
The resort’s 42 villas were designed with neutral tones from local pinewood, soft linen textures, and smooth timber that glows in the sun. Its signature suite offers expansive indoor-outdoor living with a private pool and direct access to a lagoon.
V Villas Maldives all-day dining space Dhonvelli gives guests fresh options for ocean-to-table food made with locally sourced ingredients. The main overwater restaurant, Muraka offers an overwater dining experience. Its signature dish is a freshly caught Maldivian lobster flambéed tableside and infused with Muraka rum, coconut curry, kaffir lime, and palm sugar.
The resort’s Mirihi Spa has an array of treatments, including an ocean mineral salt scrub, an infrared sea bath ritual, and guided meditation sessions.
Guests at the V Villas Maldives can go on a full-day voyage across Ari Atoll on a luxury yacht chartered exclusively for them, the Mirihi Thari. This offers guests the opportunity to see whale sharks, manta rays, and turtles in their natural habitats.
