Naumi Hotel Auckland Airport partnered with Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) New Zealand for a Family Dinner at Auckland Domain House.
Working alongside RMHC's in-house chef, the Naumi Hotel Auckland Airport team spent the afternoon preparing and serving dinner for families staying at Auckland Domain House before assisting with the evening clean-up.
Through RMHC's Family Dinner programme, volunteer groups help provide warm, nourishing meals so families can focus on their child's care during a challenging time.
The volunteer evening reflected the hotel’s ongoing commitment to supporting the local community through initiatives that bring people together with a sense of purpose.
Rooted in genuine care and meaningful connections, the initiative also reflected Naumi Hotels' broader philosophy that hospitality extends beyond welcoming guests. It's about creating meaningful moments of care wherever the brand operates.
Beyond preparing dinner, the initiative gave the team an opportunity to support RMHC New Zealand's mission to ease the practical, financial, and emotional pressures families experience when a child is receiving medical treatment.
Akash Sood, General Manager of Naumi Hotel Auckland Airport, said it was a privilege for the team to support RMHC New Zealand, and he hoped that by sharing a warm meal, they could bring a little comfort to families during what can be an incredibly challenging time.
