LIBERTÉ FOR AUCKLAND

Aotea Quarter

Hawaiian hotel management company Castle Resorts and Hotels has a new property coming to Auckland New Zealand.

The Liberté Hotel will join Auckland’s CBD in the Aotea Quarter precinct and will come by way of a building conversion. The renovations process will begin in March 2019, with the first phase of 51 guest rooms and a small café and restaurant being developed. When complete, the property will have 125 guest rooms, as well as a signature restaurant and a rooftop bar as well as an infinity pool.

“We’re excited to build on our presence in New Zealand with the full management of this new lifestyle boutique hotel that will set a new standard for Auckland,” said Alan Mattson, president and CEO of Castle Resorts and Hotels.

“The Liberté Hotel offers visitors a limitless sense of freedom to explore, relax and create unforgettable memories right the heart of Aotea Quarter, Auckland’s epicentre of art and creative expression. There is a growing demand for unique experiences in Auckland and this project is going to be one of the most exciting hotels to open in the region in many years.”

Castle Resorts and Hotels operate 18 properties in Hawaii and the four-and-a-half-star Spencer on Byron Hotel in Takapuna, Auckland.
