Gibbston Valley has opened the doors to its new luxury accommodation offering.
Gibbston Valley Lodge & Spa has officially welcomed its first guests who enjoyed a night amid the vines and kicked off what is expected to be a busy season.
“What we’ve created with the Lodge & Spa is a place of humble luxury, where guests truly feel welcome and taken care of, thanks to unexpected touches of indulgence and our personal concierge service,” said Gibbston Valley Winery CEO Greg Hunt.
“All while enjoying fine wine and food, which is at the heart of what we offer, with the spectacular Central Otago landscape as the backdrop.
“It was cause for a celebration welcoming our first guests this week and having them experience the villa comforts, relax in the ambience of the Lodge and explore the wider grounds, all of which we’ve worked so hard to perfect.
“We’ve had a phenomenal response in terms of bookings so far, and our team is looking forward to a busy summer of hosting guests at this brand new property.”
Set on 1000 acres of privately-owned land, Gibbston Valley Lodge & Spa features 24 villas overlooking the historic Le Maitre vineyard block, a central Lodge building for fine dining and intimate wine experiences, a spa and health centre, and a range of premium onsite activities.
