Australia’s country music capital has a new 4.5 star hotel in Mercure Tamworth, opened by Deputy Prime Minister Barnaby Joyce.
“This $12 million investment recognises the opportunity Tamworth offers as a regional city and creates 35 local jobs, as well as a brand new hotel for Australia’s country music capital,” said Joyce.
The hotel is the culmination of a partnership between AccorHotels and Wests Entertainment Group in an effort to grow the Tamworth tourism industry.
