Hilton Hotels & Resorts has celebrated the launch of its 100th property in the Asia-Pacific region, with the opening of Hilton Hangzhou Xiaoshan in China.

The hotel brand has opened hotels in the area at an alarming rate – over one hotel-a-week.

Hilton’s key strategy is to grow its brand in key destinations, and it now operates over 200 properties across 21 countries and territories in the Asia Pacific. It still has a further 440+ hotels in the pipeline. Nearly one in four of all rooms under construction in the Asia-Pacific and one in three in China carry a Hilton flag.
