AccorHotels’ NZ$850 million acquisition of Mövenpick Hotels and Resorts has finally been completed. The companies had agreed earlier in the year that AccorHotels would purchase 100 percent of the company.
Mövenpick boasts a portfolio of over 84 properties, with dozens more in the pipeline. The hotel brand was previously owned by Mövenpick Holding (67 percent stake) and by Saudi based Kingdom Group (33 percent).
