Some flight services into Hong Kong have resumed, after almost 900 flights were cancelled over extreme conditions caused by Typhoon Mangkhut.
“Passengers should proceed to the airport only when their seats and flight time have been confirmed,” said Hong Kong International Airport in a statement on Twitter.
Major airline Cathay Pacific Airways is one of the first airlines to resume services to Hong Kong.
“Service resumption will likely be very slow, and still subject to weather conditions with continued delays and some cancellations,” said Cathay on its website.
