Waitakere Estate has been placed been placed on the market for sale.

The main wing at the hotel includes 14 standard guest bedrooms as well as a two-bedroom apartment, two one-bedroom apartments, and a two-bedroom guesthouse. Currently, the team is finishing up the new South Wing at the hotel which features eight new rooms, a sauna, gym and health spa, as well as a garden terrace. The expansion is planned to open on February 22. The property also has resource consent approved for a further 12 suites alongside the new wing.

The Waitakere Estate is currently run by brothers Reg and Hugh Nevill-Jackson, and marketed under the Heritage brand as Heritage Collection Waitakere Estate.

Free-hold land, building and going concern business are now being marketed for sale by negotiation through Bayleys Auckland.

“The bedroom and facility configuration of Waitakere Estate allows for the hosting of small corporate meeting and functions which traditionally book weekday stays, with the domestic leisure market booking Friday and Saturday night short-breaks,” said Carolyn Hanson, the salesperson alongside John Greenwood selling the property for Bayleys.
