M&L Hospitality will open Melbourne’s first Hilton property later this year.
Real estate billionaire Michael Kim backs the investment group, which bought the heritage-listed property in June 2017 for $30 million.
The 244-room hotel which is currently under construction is a $250 million development, which will hold Melbourne’s first Hilton hotel since the Hilton Melbourne South Wharf rebranded as the Pan Pacific Melbourne.
Hilton does however operate the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Melbourne which is also owned by M&L Hospitality.
