NAUMI ACQUIRES SECOND QUEENSTOWN HOTEL

Singapore-based private hotel owner and operator Naumi Hotels has announced its acquisition of the Central Ridge Boutique Hotel in Queenstown.

The announcement comes a month after Naumi Hotels acquired The Dairy Private Hotel, also located in Queenstown.

“To have not just one, but now two hotels in Queenstown city centre reinforces our commitment to bringing Naumi to tourism hotspots in New Zealand," said Naumi Hotels' Australia & New Zealand CEO, Gaurang Jhunjhnuwala.

"We are immensely proud to have secured this deal, which will increase our brand awareness in the South Island and further bolster the group’s growth in major cities around the world."

Central Ridge Boutique Hotel is located near Queenstown's town centre and is a 15-minute drive from Queenstown International Airport. To align the hotel with the Naumi brand, its guest rooms and facilities will undergo a phased renovation, scheduled to be completed in 2020. Doors will remain open during this period and guests will not be impacted by the changes.

“This is an exciting time to be in the South Island – one of our foremost priorities is to improve guest satisfaction at our hotels through a range of key initiatives to be introduced over the
coming months," said Chris McIntosh, chief operating officer of Naumi Hotels for Australia and New Zealand.

"Having two hotels within close proximity now gives us the competitive advantage to provide our guests with more options while increasing synergies in achieving business and operational excellence."

With Central Ridge Boutique Hotel, Naumi Hotels now own or manage seven hotels in Singapore, New Zealand and Australia.
