Anuga have announced a brand-new special event designed to explore the effects of new trends, technologies, and challenges on the food industry.
Anuga Horizon 2050 brings together visionaries, innovators, initiatives, and start-ups from a variety of backgrounds to jointly shape the future of the industry. The expo, celebrating Anuga's 100th anniversary, will take place in Cologne from the October 5-9.
Five thematic focusses with panel discussions, presentations and best practice examples highlight tomorrow's opportunities and challenges:
• Sustainable Environment – Better Food for a Better World
• Startup-Day – New Solutions, New Products
• Alternative Proteins – New Sources to Feed 10 Billion
• New Nutrition – The Evolution of Food
• Internet of Food
Each of these five scenarios will be the focus of Anuga for one day and will be examined closely on the Anuga Horizon Stage in the course of short impulse lectures.
