MAN PERFORMS STUNT ACROSS HOTEL TOWERS

Walking between the two Ala Moana Hotel by Mantra towers was daredevil and world-renown high-wire walker Blake Wallenda. Making history, he sky-walked between the towers 15 storeys high. This is his highest stunt yet and a first for Hawaii. With no tether or net, he walked a 60 metre long and 1.5cm wide wire while battling 50kph winds. The stunt was staged to launch The Super American Circus tour in Hawaii where Wallenda is one of the headlining acts.

“This year, our hotel celebrates its 50th anniversary and we are very proud to continue our commitment towards supporting family events that showcase world-class performances in our local community,” Glen Erickson said, Ala Moana Hotel by Mantra's general manager. “We are very excited to bring to life a revitalised sense of adventure and limitless possibilities to the next 50 years of this landmark hotel – a sentiment which is in line with Accor’s new lifestyle loyalty program, ALL – Accor Live Limitless.”
