Accor Presents an Evening of European Masterpieces and Culinary Brilliance

This month guests can experience Te Papa’s winter exhibition Surrealist Art: Masterpieces from Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen | He Toi Pohewa: He Toi Marupō o Muhiama o Boijmans Van Beuningen with an exclusive viewing of the exhibition and a specially curated three-course dinner as Accor offers an extraordinary evening of European masterpieces and culinary brilliance.

The exhibition showcases 180 iconic masterpieces from Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen in Rotterdam, Netherlands and includes major works by artists such as Salvador Dalí, Marcel Duchamp, Man Ray, Max Ernst, René Magritte and Leonora Carrington.

An exclusive viewing introduced by Exhibition Curator, Lizzie Bisley will find guests transported through a series of galleries. Visitors will learn about Dada, the movement that preceded Surrealism and they will explore how dreams, chance and desire inspired the art of the Surrealists. The exhibition showcases the incredible diversity of Surrealism and includes paintings, sculpture, cutting-edge film, photography, design and more.

Following the exhibition viewing there will be a 3-course wine dinner, with wine match curated by Sofitel Wellington's Executive Chef Roy Giam and the Chefs at Te Papa.
