Ukraine Relief Fund to Support Ukrainian Refugees in the Hospitality Industry

Currently, more than 3.6 million Ukrainians have fled their homeland to seek refuge in neighbouring countries. In light of the current conflict between Ukraine and Russia, the HSMAI Foundation (Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International) has partnered with HSMAI Europe to create a fund dedicated to supporting both the immediate and long-term needs of Ukrainians studying and working in the hospitality industry.

Administered by the HSMAI Europe Board of Directors, the newly established fund is open to any student or employee who has been affected by the ongoing war, including refugees and those still based in Ukraine.

Grants will be available for:

  • Fees and full bursaries
  • Vocational training and support
  • Mentorship
  • Attendance at HSMAI Europe programmes and conferences
  • Global Certifications

The Ukraine Relief Fund was officially launched on Tuesday, 29 March and is calling on companies and individuals to show their support for the initiative and donate.
