Five-star hotel Cordis Auckland's signature onsite restaurant, Eight, is celebrating Easter with an exclusive buffet to table offer for the weekend from 15 April to 17 April 2022.
Eight restaurant will take taste buds to the next level with a weekend of endless chocolatey fun, from decadent chocolate-themed desserts to bespoke Crème de Chocross Cocktails.
Available for lunch Saturday and Sunday and dinner from Friday to Sunday, Eight offers a diverse mix of delicious dishes, including vegetarian, dairy-free and vegan options.
For lunch, guests can enjoy coromandel oysters with lemon, clam linguini with spinach and Wairarapa region rosemary and garlic leg of lamb with scalloped potatoes and green beans. Vegetarian options include a selection of maki rolls, brinjal curry with basmati rice and mango chutney and a rocket and watermelon salad with vegan cheese croutons and tangerine dressing.
For dinner, guests can indulge in dishes such as West Coast slow-roasted beef rib eye with cheese spätzle and onion gravy, fish of the day on lemon risotto and pork vindaloo. Vegetarian options include miso-glazed eggplant, aloo mutter with rice, naan and mango chutney, maki rolls and roasted beetroot broccoli with a balsamic glaze.
Guests will be presented with mouth-watering desserts to complete the lunch and dinner experiences, including a carrot cupcake, chocolate brownie heaven tart, chocolate crème brulee and vegan double chocolate delight.
