Marriott’s Loyalty Program Wins Freddie Award

The Freddie Awards - the most prestigious travel loyalty awards ceremony - has returned after a year’s hiatus due to COVID-19, with Marriott Bonvoy proving most popular amongst travellers in the Americas. 

Over the past two and half decades, Marriott Bonvoy, Marriott International’s award-winning travel program and marketplace, has won an outstanding 227 Freddie Awards combined. 

The Freddie Awards recognises excellence in frequent travel programs annually, with global travellers casting 2.5 million votes for the 2022 awards. 

This year, Marriot Bonvoy took home five awards. In addition to being crowned Hotel Program of the Year, Americas, for the 14th consecutive year, Marriott Bonvoy was also awarded:

  • Best Promotion, Europe & Africa
  • Best Customer Service, Middle East & Asia/Oceania
  • Best Redemption Ability, Americas
  • Best Elite Program, Americas
