Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts Scheduled to Debut in Malaysia

Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, one of Hilton's luxury brands, has announced its expansion into Malaysia with Waldorf Astoria Kuala Lumpur. Slated to open in 2024 in the heart of Kuala Lumpur's famed Bukit Bintang hub, the property will be developed and owned by Tradewinds Corporation Berhad and managed by Hilton. It continues the brand's entrance into coveted destinations such as Sydney, Tokyo, Osaka and Jakarta and joins an award-winning collection of Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts in the Asia Pacific.

World-class Luxury Offerings

Waldorf Astoria Kuala Lumpur' will feature 279 suites with bespoke interiors and furnishings. Room sizes will begin from 76 square meters, providing guests with the luxury of space to decompress and relax. Renovation and construction are scheduled to commence in the third quarter of this year.

Like all Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, guests can expect True Waldorf Service from the moment they book their stay till they check out, with everlasting memories created through unmatched cultivated and personalised service. The luxury hotel will also offer culinary excellence across five unique dining venues, including Peacock Alley, the iconic lounge and bar synonymous with the Waldorf Astoria brand. The property will also feature a state-of-the-art wellness centre and meeting spaces spread across 3,390 square metres, including a 1,845 square meter-ballroom. It will be the perfect location for world-class events and incomparable celebrations.
