Choice Hotels Launches Direct Pay Programme

Choice Hotels International is simplifying the billing process system-wide for business travellers booking rooms at more than 5,000 domestic properties with its new 'Choice Direct Pay' programme. With this new comprehensive offering, business travellers can now make reservations for their employees and guests at multiple Choice hotels, with their company billed directly via a single, centralised invoice.

The programme will notably enable corporate customers to:

  • Make a single payment for all hotel stays through weekly consolidated invoicing.
  • Download and manage invoice data via a dedicated portal.
  • Add project costs and department codes to bills to further simplify the reconciliation process.
  • Contact centralised customer support to help with their enrollment process, check the status of payments and invoices, and resolve any issues with charges.
  • Maintain access to existing negotiated and chainwide rates by entering their Choice-issued CID.
  • Search for participating hotels and book via preferred channels, including choicehotels.com, the Choice Hotels mobile app, Choice Contact Centres, and the GDS.
  • Offer the flexibility to adjust stay dates on property.

Choice Direct Pay streamlines what has traditionally been a demanding process across the industry, emphasising Choice's pledge to build on its leading value proposition for guests and corporate customers. It builds on several innovations and investments made by the company to advance its technology solutions to meet corporate travel needs, including Virtual Pay and the Group Management Platform. Virtual Pay lets travel managers quickly and effortlessly book stays for their guests without a personal credit card. Meanwhile, the Group Management Platform is an online reservation solution that makes planning and booking group travel easier.

To participate in Choice Direct Pay, corporate customers will need to sign up at info.choicehotels.com/direct-pay, after which they will receive customised enrollment links via TreviPay, a leader in the payment solution industry facilitating the programme.
