Outrigger has announced Carly Clement as vice president of operations at Hawai‘i Vacation Condos and Cynde Vannatta as general manager of Royal Sea Cliff by Outrigger.
Clement will helm the strategic vision and effective operations of Outrigger’s Hawai‘i Vacations Condominium division, focusing on excellence in guest satisfaction, high-product quality and service standards, facilities maintenance, and safety and security practices. She will concentrate on and implement business strategies that retain existing owners, attract new owners, and interact with boards of directors and rental advisory committees to ensure effective collaboration.
Clement first joined Outrigger in 2019 as resort manager at the Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach and was promoted to general manager at the Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort in 2021. Before Outrigger, Clement served as the director of rooms at the Hyatt in California and also at The Modern Honolulu. She also undertook management roles on the condo/vacation rental front, including the Four-Diamond Resort at Squaw Creek in North Lake Tahoe, Five-Star/Five-Diamond Four Seasons Resort Hualalai and the Four-Diamond The Westin Princeville Ocean Resort Villas. Most recently, Clement served as the general manager at the Lotus Honolulu/Hotel Renew.
Engaged with the community, she also assumes leadership roles across philanthropic and industry organisations in Honolulu, including YWCA career coach and Hawai‘i Lodging & Tourism Association’s Charity Walk chair for 2022.
Clement holds a Bachelor of Arts in hospitality business management with a minor in international business and business administration from Washington State University. She is also CRDE (Certified Rooms Division Executive) certified via the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute.
Vannatta will oversee operations at Royal Sea Cliff by Outrigger, working closely with onsite departments and corporate support. Together, they will build and achieve maximum profitability, customer satisfaction levels, product quality, service standards, facility maintenance and workplace harmony, as well as ensure safety practices are up to Outrigger standards. Additionally, she will collaborate with the homeowner board of directors, Wyndham timeshare representatives, property homeowners and rental owners and actively advertise the resort as a caring and supportive corporate citizen in all local community activities.
Before joining Outrigger, Vannatta was marketing manager for the Waikoloa Ocean Club. Having also been team leader/marketing coordinator, under the Wyndham flag, for Royal Sea Cliff, she is very familiar with the resort. Vannatta also boasts experience with the Shell Vacations Club brand as regional director of support services for Hawai‘i, support services manager for Hawai‘i Island and contract processor and verification loan officer.
