The Danish hotel brand Zleep Hotels is set to open its first hotel in Saxony in 2024, adding another property outside Scandinavia to its existing portfolio.
For Deutsche Hospitality, Zleep Hotel Leipzig marks the third property in Leipzig, the most populous city in the German state of Saxony, alongside Steigenberger's luxury icon Grandhotel Handelshof Leipzig and IntercityHotel Leipzig.
Leipzig is an important trade fair site and home to one of Germany's oldest universities. For leisure travellers, the city offers numerous museums, historical buildings and monuments to explore, in addition to an eclectic mix of culinary specialities, the renowned Leipzig Opera House and the Leipzig Zoo.
Zleep Hotel Leipzig will comprise 150 guestrooms, a lobby, reception, snack bar, parking spaces and a sustainable breakfast as part of a new building project. The hotel will be located at Rosa-Luxemburg-Strasse 42, just one stop from the main train station and a ten-minute walk from the city's heart.
