World of Fascination

IHG Hotels

InterContinental Hotels & Resorts has partnered with Igee Okafor to celebrate the 'World of Fascination' and the fusion of travel experiences represented within its 222 hotels and resorts in 70 countries worldwide. A style visionary and cultural connoisseur, Igee Okafor has highlighted the diversity within the vast variety of hotels and resorts offered by the world’s first and largest luxury hotel brand.

Last year, the brand announced a transformative end-to-end global evolution designed to position InterContinental front of mind for the modern luxury traveller.

“It is a privilege to partner with Igee. Our recent Global transformation is designed to position InterContinental Hotels & Resorts front of mind for the modern luxury traveller," said Tom Rowntree, vice president of luxury and lifestyle brands at IHG.

“At its core, the transformation understands guests’ inherent curiosity, passion to explore the world and their need to switch between ‘modes’ throughout the day."

Rowntree added that Okafor not only personifies the modern traveller, but has brought the essence of the IHG evolution to life.

InterContinental aims to captivate the imaginations of modern luxury travellers by satisfying their desire for knowledge and culturally rich experiences. InterContinental Hotels & Resorts' global brand evolution embraces modernity, diversity and the desire for meaningful experiences, ensuring that guests can continue to explore the world while feeling right at home.

"I am thrilled to partner with InterContinental Hotels & Resorts. Unique cultural perspectives influence my style vocabulary and like InterContinental, I believe travel can expand the mind," said Okafor.

"In my home city of New York, culture is based on embracing diversity in every way, something I’ve experienced firsthand through the remarkable range of properties I’ve visited with InterContinental."

A main element of the 'World of Fascination' partnership will include a series that illustrates InterContinental's broad portfolio of properties from all across the globe. This is said to capture Okafor's experience of staying in four distinctly different properties across four continents.
