Plans are underway for a massive mixed-use development tower which will reintroduce the Ritz-Carlton brand to Sydney.

The $500 million project is a joint venture between The Star Entertainment Group, Chow Tai Fook and Far East Consortium and will include the hotel as well as 200 apartment residences which will share amenities and facilities with the hotel including three pools – two which have harbour views, two gyms, spa facilities and a healthy amount of food and beverage offerings. The six-star hotel will span 61-storeys with 220 rooms.

The project will create about 1000 construction jobs as well as a further 500 jobs once the hotel is operating.
