An undercover investigation at the Corbigoe Hotel in Westminster central London by consumer watchdog Which? revealed what is likely to be one of the smallest hotel rooms in the world.
The room hardly manages to fit a single bed and the bathroom is so tiny that you can wash your hands while sitting on the toilet. The rectangular room is so small that guests can simultaneously touch the walls on either side.

The room was listed on Booking.com as measuring five 5sqm, however Which? found that the bathroom made up almost half that space. In reality, the room is 3sqm, more than half the size under the recommended minimum size for a UK prison cell. Furthermore, the room has no external window, as the window opens into the interior landing rather than the outdoors.
