PRICES EMERGE FOR STAR WARS HOTEL

Early details have emerged about the upcoming Star Wars-themed hotel at Disney Hollywood Studios.

The hotel is allegedly only bookable as an all-inclusive, two-night/three-day experience, with shorter one-night stays not possible. Much like on the Disney Cruise line, food, beverages, and entertainment will also be included as part of the experience.

“This groundbreaking experience is unlike any resort experience you’ve ever seen," said Disney in a statement. "From the moment you board your launch pod, it’s a fully-immersive, multi-day Star Wars adventure aboard a luxury starship complete with high-end dining, space-view cabins and all of the exciting action you would expect from an authentic Star Wars experience.”

Prices are rumoured to be very high, starting at US$3,300 for one person, which works at out at around NZ$5,100. A cabin with five passengers would cost NZ$11,200, or NZ$750 per person per day.

According to sources, rooms come in two sizes: a regular cabin and a larger "Captain's Quarters" cabin, the price of which is still unknown. Each floor will feature 32 regular cabins and two first-class cabins.

The Star Wars hotel is still allegedly years from being completed, so prices may be subject to change.
