Hilton Expands Presence in Peru with Hilton Garden Inn Lima Miraflores

Hilton’s growth momentum continues with the opening of Hilton Garden Inn Lima Miraflores, the company’s ninth hotel in Peru and fifth in the city of Lima.

“Hilton is seizing the opportunity for growth in Peru. With three properties joining our portfolio and celebrating our tenth hotel milestone later this year, we are excited about the future of our presence in the country,” said Pablo Maturana, managing director, development, Caribbean and South America, Hilton.

In around five years, the hotel giant has plans to double its footprint in Peru with the addition of ten hotels across Hilton’s portfolio of industry-leading brands.

Located in Lima’s upscale Miraflores district, the 235-room and pet-friendly Hilton Garden Inn Lima Miraflores is in close proximity to dining, shopping and entertainment, Playa Waikiki and Kennedy Park. The new hotel features a rooftop pool and bar on the 18th floor and a 24-hour fitness centre.

Embodying Hilton Garden Inn’s region-specific design concept, the hotel’s lobby and public area design showcase a mix of local materials, décor and colour palette inspired by the destination and the hotel’s surroundings. The design inspiration persists throughout the hotel’s spacious guest rooms and suites and its exterior, boasting the city’s tallest mural - a unique locally created design piece adorning the side of the building.

The food and beverage program at Hilton Garden Inn Lima Miraflores’ signature restaurant, The Garden Grille, also reflects local flavours by incorporating traditional ingredients and dishes to curate an authentic experience for its guests. The new hotel also offers a lobby bar, room service and The Shop, which has snacks and beverages available 24/7. Guests requiring event or meeting spaces can take advantage of the hotel’s 400 square metres of flexible event space, including eight meeting rooms. Free parking is also available.

The debut of Hilton Garden Inn Lima Miraflores comes with Hilton’s plans for continued growth in the Caribbean and Latin America. Currently, the group has a pipeline of nearly 110 hotels in the region, with approximately 20 properties slated to open this year.
