Partnership Boosts Taiwanese Tourism

Dunqian and ONDA CEO's shaking hands because of new partnership. They have a new hotel partnership that would boost tourism between Korea and Taiwan.

ONDA, a South Korean hospitality technology startup, has forged a strategic partnership to boost Taiwanese tourism. The deal has been made with Dunqian International, an established Taiwanese smart hotel group with 53 hotels and over 4,000 rooms. This partnership would promote hotels and provide convenient residencies whilst promoting Taiwanese tourism. The partnership also signed an MOU, facilitating the distribution of Dunqian's hotel inventory through Korean online sales channels.

Korean tourism to Taiwan has been on a significant rise, with 6.9 percent of Taiwan's 550,000 visitors being Korean, a number expected to surge a further 50 percent. The deal between ONDA and Dunqian is timely and will generate profit for both sides.

Under the MOU, ONDA will promote and distribute Dunqian Group's hotels through various online sales channels in South Korea, aiming to provide Korean tourists with convenient hospitality experiences at competitive prices. This would generate more interest in travelling to Taiwan and stimulate increased tourism.

"Our vision revolves around providing a sustainable and innovative hospitality experience. We are excited to provide Korean tourists with memorable experiences in Taiwan," commented Wu Bing-ting, CEO of Dunqian International.

"The MOU aims to make it more convenient and affordable for Korean tourists to visit Taiwan," added Hyun-Seok Oh, CEO of ONDA.

"ONDA is committed to continuously introducing high-quality hotels and accommodations in global tourism destinations to the Korean market.”
