Accommodation operators can elevate their staff's cleaning skills through Careerforce for 50 percent less than usual costs.
According to Careerforce’s most recent employer survey, insufficient funding and resources were the most significant challenges facing employer training needs over the next 12 months.
To help boost skills and ease the burden of training costs upon the health and wellbeing and cleaning sectors, Careerforce has offered to enrol and assess hotel cleaners for half price until 31 July 2025.
Enrol your cleaners in a full-service programme now for just NZD 345 (incl. GST), down from NZD 690 for the Level 2 Cleaning programme, or NZD 425 (incl. GST), down from NZD 850 for a Level 3 Cleaning programme until 31 July 2025.
Eligible Programmes include:
- NZ Level 2 Certificate in Cleaning
- NZ Level 3 Certificate in Cleaning
- NZ Level 3 Certificate in Cleaning Supervision Strand
- NZ Level 3 Certificate in Cleaning Specialist Strand
With full-service enrolments, learners are assigned an assessor by Careerforce, who provides full assessment services to the trainee for the duration of the training programme, such as marking assessments, providing feedback and registering assessment results.
This applies to domestic learner enrolments only. To be eligible for promotional enrolment pricing, training agreements must be received by Careerforce no later than 31 July 2025.
Careerforce has also reduced enrolment fees for Level 2 and 3 cleaning programmes in 2025 to just NZD 95 (incl. GST), down from NZD 200 to 300. This has made training more accessible for employer-supported learners.
With employer-led enrollments, the employer assigns one of their own workplace-based staff members to provide assessment support to the trainee. Workplace-based assessors need to be registered with Careerforce, have completed 4098 assessor training and have ‘scope’ to assess.
