SINGAPORE | Harilela Hotels has appointed seasoned hotelier Andreas Kraemer as General Manager to lead the opening of The Hari Singapore and establish it as one of the city's distinctive lifestyle destinations.
Opening in spring 2027, moments from Orchard Road and the historic Emerald Hill precinct, the 326-room property will become the third hotel under The Hari brand, joining its sister hotels in London and Hong Kong.
Contemporary, design-led and deeply connected to its neighbourhood, The Hari Singapore will bring a fresh expression of hospitality to the heart of the city.
Kraemer has more than 30 years of international hospitality leadership across Europe and Asia. Most recently, he spent over five years as General Manager of InterContinental Singapore, where he led a significant strategic repositioning of the luxury brand, commercial growth, and brand development.
His international career has spanned senior leadership roles across Singapore, China, Thailand, India and the Maldives.
“Andreas has a remarkable track record,” said The Hari brand's founder, Dr Aron Harilela.
“His rich and diversified experience should propel our plans to bring a beacon of modern luxury and impeccable service to Singapore.”
For Kraemer, the opportunity is about creating more than a hotel.
“Singapore doesn't need another hotel. It deserves hotels with character. What drew me to The Hari was the opportunity to create a place connected to Orchard Road and the heritage of Emerald Hill, a hotel that becomes part of the city, not simply part of its skyline. Together with our team, we'll create a destination guests return to for its people, atmosphere and genuine sense of belonging.”
The Hari Singapore will place art, design, culture and contemporary dining at the heart of the guest experience, reflecting the brand's understated approach to hospitality while embracing the energy and character of Singapore.
